I went to the bookshop today and sat there reading for about 3 hrs, then i went to the gym. Then went back, took a shower and a lecture by my dad.

Well, heres the essay i wrote for my english exam. It isn't exactly the same but i tried =)

Adjusting to new situations can bring rewards

Adjusting to new situations can definately bring new rewards. When i was in grade 9, I transferred Secondary school. i was sure that I'd be unable to fit in as the school that i was going to was completely different from my the normal high school i had attended thus far. My old school was a normal mixed high school without uniforms. However, this school that I was going to, was an exclusive all boys methodist instituition that had a reputation of turning out the most graduates who became doctors, lawyers and bankers. Moreover, all students attending the high school, had to wear uniforms.

Not knowing what to expect, I started attending the school. There were many new things that i had never experienced before. There were chaple services every monday morning and there was a class called "pupil development" which was suppossed to mold us into fine, well mannered young gentlemen.

But after getting used to it, I found thta i loved it. My personal relationship with God grew. From being uneasy about chaple services and not singing the hymns, i was now singing them with all my heart. And from the uncivillized babarian that i was, I was transformed into a well mannered, polite gentleman.

But most rewarding/best of all/one of the greatest rewards (i forget which one i used), I made friends so great that words cannot express how great they are. They would die for me as i for them. I tursted them so much that we could share our deepest secrets, most frightening fears and personal relationships with each other.

Had i not transfered school and adjusted to the new situation, I would not have experienced so many new experience. The school had the motto, "The Best is Yet To Be". And I do not think that I could have been the best that I could be had i not gone there.
